This describes how EO timing works and is part of and attached to the EVENT ORDER (EO) between the PARTIES. It is in addition to and not in lieu of any other terms or conditions. Definitions of terms used herein are as provided in the T/C’s.

CONTRACT TIMING

Delivery, setup, takedown and removal times are all estimates and "flex" as the crew’s needs change. Nothing is  guaranteed except your rentals will be ready by the rental start time you contracted for. You do not have the right to use rental equipment outside the rental period you have paid for, even if equipment is just "sitting there". The setup crew looks at upcoming weather, other rentals, staff availability, delivery and installation equipment needs and your own contract's requirements to schedule the delivery and pickup. These really can change from moment to moment.

If you want want a day or more for your own decorating, change your rental start time. An extra day only costs about 15% of the one day cost. While we don't mind if you decorate after the setup work is complete, even if it is a day or two before the rental begins, this is not guaranteed and cannot be demanded. To demand it - you must contract for your rental to begin at the time wanted.

Remember to take care of the rentals - you are responsible for it from the time it leaves the warehouse until the time it is returned back to the warehouse.

 

 

ACTUAL CONTRACT WORDING:

T/C-14.8: DELIVERY and PICK-UP times are estimates and subject to change without notice or recourse. LABOR shall have at least 3 work days before the EVENT START DATE and 3 work days after the EVENT END DATE excluding Sundays and Holidays to complete work. An extra day shall be added to each of the before and after periods for every $5,000 in EO total or in the case of multiple EOs issued to RENTER for the total of all EOs. Narrower times may be required only by notice in section AAP and payment of any labor fees required. An EO issued on a BEST EFFORTS BASIS or experiencing an EMERGENCY BASIS or issuing an EMERGENCY NOTICE shall have no limits and shall be BEST EFFORTS only. RENTER is solely responsible for all agreements with ESITE to assure the requirements of this section are met.
